  1. I sympathize with you so much and I am so grateful that I have found places like this online where we can discuss our love of romances. I, luckily, have one really good friend in my offline world who reads romance novels but we are both are so busy that we rarely find the time to get together to just “talk books” anymore. Everyone else I know is pretty much anti-romance (I actually had someone ask me for book recommendations for her book club the other day and say “but we don’t want any of “those love stories.”). I have tried to get my hubby to read Outlander and one of his male friends loved it and seconded my recommendation, but so far no luck. On the plus side, he has watched a couple of the tv episodes of Outlander and enjoyed them, so there may be hope :-).
